While on my way to work this morning, I found myself walking behind an elderly couple. They were holding hands. I could sense the years of love and devotion between them. A huge smile was plastered on my face as I continued to watch them - I couldn't take my eyes off of them. The busy morning rush sped past them while they kept strolling at their leisurely pace, perfectly content in one another's company. It was humbling. It touched my heart. They probably loved each other as much now as they did when they first fell in love. That will be my parents in a few years... that will be us in fifty. Image via Deviantart
